Where wild meets refined. These spaces were designed to endure, delight, and deepen the connection between people and place.

Suburban Homestead
Completed 2025
Colorado Springs, CO
A labor of love turned suburban lawn into sanctuary. What began as tired sod and sprawling rock is now a layered, living landscape—featuring raised beds, terraces, water harvesting, pollinator habitat, thoughtful drainage, tool storage, pathways, privacy screening, and places to gather, rest, and grow. A personal design lab disguised as a backyard oasis.

Forest Garden
Completed 2016
This Boulder backyard was once a broad expanse of lawn—now it’s a forest garden oasis. Completed in 2016, the design reimagined the space for a new chapter of life, with meandering pathways, a tranquil patio, seating nooks, and a bubbling rock water feature. By integrating existing elements and replacing turf with layered plantings, the slender side yard now feels expansive, immersive, and deeply rooted in place.
