Crafting Spaces That Inspire and Endure
At EcoLogic Design, we believe every property holds unique potential. A landscape consultation is the first step in uncovering that potential—whether you’re addressing a specific challenge or exploring possibilities for the future.
Our consultations provide expert, site-specific insight to help you better understand your land, clarify priorities, and make informed decisions moving forward. This is a working session focused on observation, dialogue, and actionable guidance.
Our Approach
Discovery & Exploration
Every consultation begins with understanding you and your property. During the onsite visit, we discuss your goals, challenges, and how the space is currently used by people and pets. We look closely at what’s working, what isn’t, and where opportunities exist.
This is not a sales pitch or a generic walkthrough—it’s a purposeful conversation rooted in how your landscape functions today and how it could function better.
Site Analysis & Observation
We assess the property through careful observation, including:
- Drainage patterns and water movement
- Sun exposure and microclimates
- Topography, access, and circulation
- Existing plants, trees, and site conditions
- Signs of erosion, compaction, or stress
Using ecological principles and permaculture-informed thinking, we develop a clear, practical understanding of the site’s dynamics.
Insight & Direction
Consultations focus on solving real problems and clarifying next steps. Common topics include:
- Drainage and runoff issues
- Plant selection and placement
- Improving usability and flow
- Screening, privacy, and outdoor space definition
- Long-term stewardship and phased improvement
Recommendations are tailored to your property, priorities, and budget.
