EcoLogic Design delivers construction services that blend ecological understanding with skilled execution. From grading, drainage, and landscape shaping to walls, access paths, trails, and planting preparation, we build with intention and care. Whether addressing persistent site issues or shaping new possibilities, our work is clean, durable, and designed to support both beauty and function.
All construction services are performed directly by the owner/operator. Work is limited in volume and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
What We Build
EcoLogic Design focuses on small-scale, high-skill site work for residential and rural properties. Services include:
- Landscape construction and installation
- Drainage and stormwater solutions
- Earth shaping and finish grading
- Retaining walls and site structures
- Access paths and trail construction
- Forest cleanup and stump removal
- Demolition and concrete breaking
- Irrigation system installation (where permitted)
Projects may follow an EcoLogic Design plan or client-provided drawings.
How the Work Is Done
Construction work is informed by ecological design principles and executed with professional tools and equipment. Capabilities include mini-excavator work with multiple attachments (grading bucket, digging bucket, auger, packer wheel, concrete breaker), precision layout using levels and lasers, and a full complement of battery, pneumatic, and hand tools. Job sites are kept clean and work is sequenced carefully.
Regulated trades and permit-required work are performed by licensed subcontractors when required.
Rates & Billing
Machine + Operator
- $150/hour
- $1,200/day
Professional Skilled Labor
- $100/hour
- $800/day (second skilled labor when required)
Helper / General Labor
- $500/day
Mobilization
- Equipment mobilization: $100–$250 per trip (round-trip), based on distance
- Skilled labor mobilization: $50 per job or project phase
- Additional mobilization applies if work is paused and later resumed
Billing Notes
- 4-hour minimum for onsite work
- No double billing: the same person is not billed simultaneously as equipment operator and skilled labor
- Materials billed at cost plus handling; disposal fees billed as incurred
- Multi-day work is preferred and prioritized

EcoLogic Design does not operate as a general contractor and does not perform regulated trades outside permitted scope.
Licensed & Insured
EcoLogic Design LLC is licensed and insured. All work is performed by an experienced owner/operator with a background in ecological design, site planning, and landscape construction.
Scheduling & Availability
Construction services are offered year-round, weather permitting. Availability is limited; advance scheduling is recommended.
